Home Remodeling

As the world slowly returns to a new normal, we here at Trade Mark Design & Build want you to know that we are doing all we can to keep you and your family safe as we begin making your home renovation dreams come true once again. If you are like many homeowners, you have just spent several weeks at home, and you are now ready to get started on all of those home improvement projects you have always talked about doing. Whether you want to update an existing room or wish to have a new addition added on, we are here to help in a safe and effective manner that still provides you with our excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship that you have come to rely on.

What’s Required of You and Your NJ Contractor

We take the safety of you and your family seriously as we resume construction. In order to keep everyone protected we are following all of the state’s guidelines as stated in the executive order no. 142. We will use appropriate social distancing when interacting with other members of our team or when discussing the project with you. Social distancing is also enforced for all pick-ups and deliveries of equipment and materials when possible. All individuals will maintain six feet or more distance between or another, and non-essential visitors are prohibited from entering our worksite.

In addition, worksite meetings will be limited to fewer than ten individuals. We will identify all congested high-risk areas such as portable restrooms and break areas and limit the number of people gathering in those locations as well. Our team will even be required to frequently sanitize high-touch areas like all of our equipment and machinery along with the break areas and restrooms. Don’t worry. All of these precautions will be executed without interfering with your renovation project. Your satisfaction remains our top priority.

What You Can Expect Under the New Rules

Our worksite may look a little different than it used to. Among many differences that you will notice is the fact that all of our workers and any visitors will be wearing a cloth face-covering in accordance with CDC recommendations and gloves while on your property or in your home. This goes hand in hand with adequate social distancing when talking with our team.

You may also notice that our workers are staggering their start and stop times, when practical, in order to limit the number of individuals entering or leaving the worksite together. Lunch breaks and work times are also staggered so that we can complete your project safely while utilizing the least number of individuals as possible while on your property or in your home. If you have any questions or concerns about our actions during this time, please feel free to ask so that we can clarify how we intend to keep you and your family safe.

Trade Mark Design & Build will help do our part in controlling the spread of the virus by practicing regular handwashing, using proper coughing and sneezing etiquette, and proper tissue usage and disposal. Many times during a renovation, access to running water can be limited. In these situations, we will have portable wash stations available to our team with soap or alcohol-based hand sanitizer with greater than 60% alcohol or 70% isopropanol.

While our worksite may look a little different to you as we move forward, rest assured that your beautiful renovation project will be completed to your satisfaction with the same customer service we have always offered. We can make your home improvement ideas become a reality while still practicing social distancing by remaining six feet apart from you and the members of our team. You will see us taking those extra steps to sanitize our equipment, machinery, and work areas to keep your home safe, and you don’t have to worry about us becoming relaxed on these issues. We will place highly visible signage at entrances and throughout the worksite detailing all of the above information found in the executive order. So, let’s get started on that renovation you have been dreaming of.
